About This Spot

Stepping into Daniel’s Lounge feels like slipping into a familiar nook tucked away in the heart of Kieler, where the laid-back rhythm of small-town life blends effortlessly with the warmth of genuine hospitality. This unpretentious bar, nestled inside a bustling power sports store, carries an inviting hum—part neighborhood gathering spot, part local retreat—that makes it easy to unwind with friends or find a quiet corner to savor the moment.

The pace here is unhurried, grounded by the steady flow of regulars and travelers alike who come seeking comfort and good company. Conversations ripple gently amidst the soft clink of glasses and the occasional laughter, grounded by the honest, attentive care of the staff who often balance front-of-house duties solo but never lose their welcoming touch.

Daniel’s Lounge offers a menu that echoes the spirit of hearty, uncomplicated fare — from generously portioned sandwiches piled with familiar favorites like pulled pork or crispy chicken, to breakfast spreads that draw early risers ready to savor generous plates that clearly appreciate tradition and substance. Portions are generous, and the food feels crafted to fuel more than just appetites — it nourishes a sense of belonging and ease, the kind of place where leftovers are a badge of a satisfying meal.

Despite the small space, the atmosphere carries a relaxed charm, punctuated by convivial moments and a modest bustle during busy breakfast hours. Practical touches, like the necessity of cash payments, remind visitors this is a spot rooted in straightforward, no-frills local hospitality rather than flash.

What lingers most is the sense that Daniel’s Lounge is a genuine crossroads in the community—a place where affordability meets kindness, where the pace is set by the warmth of human connection rather than the clock. Whether dropping by for a casual bite or gathering with a group to toast to simple joys, it’s a spot where the quiet pleasures of everyday life come into focus.

Excellent all around. Wish we lived closer to come more. A must visit

I had A Philly Cheese Steak, Onion Rings and 6 beers for $23.75. I'm from South Carolina and that meal and drinks would cost 45 all day long anywhere you ordered it. The price alone demands a 5 star review. Sure the service is a little slow, but there was only one very nice and sweet host/bartender working and she is to be commended. Will definitely stop here again

Small bar located inside of a power sports store. They have really good lunch specials & breakfast every Sunday. They are PACKED for breakfast, so get there early to get faster service! The portion sizes are very big and you always get to take home left overs! The prices also cannot be beat, but make sure to bring cash. They do not accept any cards.

We we there for a celebration of life. Food was catering food and didn't eat much. The BBQ was very greasy, so I didn't have any. The salad was good. The staff was really friendly and speedy. Restroom needs updating.
